Active Ingredients: Cyproheptadine 4mg

Mechanism Of Action: Cyproheptadine is a serotonin and histamine antagonist with anticholinergic and sedative properties. It mediates bronchial constriction, smooth muscle contraction, prevents histamine release in blood vessels.

Indications: Allergy and Pruritus, Migraine headache, Appetite stimulant

Dose:

Adult: Allergy- 4-20mg/dly, in 3 divided doses, maximum/day- 32mg

Migraine- 4mg every 4-6hrs

Appetite stimulant- 12mg/dly

Child: Allergy (2-6yrs)- 2mg 2-3 times daily based on weight, maximum of 12mg/day; (7-14yrs)- 4mg 2-3 times daily based on weight. Maximum of 16mg/day.

Appetite stimulant: (2-6yrs)- maximum of 8mg/day; (7-14yrs)- maximum 12mg/day
